"The One Who Started It All"
May is a Nigerian Dwarf goat with a personality approximately 10 times larger than her body. She arrived at Valais Hideaway already convinced she was in charge — and honestly, nobody has successfully argued otherwise. May likes to headbutt anything that walks by, stands in your way when you're trying to carry things, and has an uncanny ability to escape enclosures that were specifically designed to keep her in. She is the chaos coordinator of the farm and a total lovebug once she decides you're worthy of her affection.
Origin Story
May came to the farm as a kid (that's baby goat, not child), already running on full battery. She had opinions about everything from day one — where she should be, who should move, why the barn door was wrong. The owner thought she was challenging. Then she thought she was funny. Now she thinks she's the best thing that ever happened to the farm. The funny thing is, nobody really disagrees. May brings a spark to Valais Hideaway that nothing else could. She's the one who makes people laugh, the one who keeps the other goats in line, and the one who somehow has made a hundred enemies into fans with one well-timed headbutt and a look that says "you're welcome."
Personality Traits
Nothing intimidates May. Dogs, horses, tractors, loud visitors — she's met them all and decided she's bigger.
Once you've earned May's respect, she's yours. She'll stand guard, pick fights on your behalf, and give you the best spots.
She moves through the world at maximum velocity. Her enclosure escapes are legendary. Her timing is perfect.
People who don't know May think she's aggressive. People who do know her know she just has a specific way of saying hello.
