Sleep With
the World's Cutest Sheep

Fall asleep next to Valais Blacknose sheep. Our cabin has animal stalls built right inside — you're not near the farm, you and the sheep are sharing the same space. There's even a loft above the stall where kids can sleep, with a tiny door to peek down and say goodnight.

Common Questions

Pack as you would for a cozy cabin stay. The basics:
  • Comfortable clothes and layers for the evening — farm nights can be cool even in summer
  • Closed-toe shoes for the farm tour and morning feeding
  • Toiletries (towels and basic amenities are provided)
  • A camera or charged phone — you will want photos
  • Any snacks or drinks for the overnight (the cabin has a mini fridge)
We take care of dinner (via Hearth & Herd add-on) and breakfast is included. Just show up ready to enjoy.
Sheepovers are magical for kids ages 5 and up — young enough to be wide-eyed, old enough to truly remember the experience. The animals are gentle and the setting is inherently calm, so children across a wide age range feel at home. We welcome adult-only groups too: couples, friends, and families of all shapes. The sheep have no age restrictions whatsoever.
The farm runs in most weather — rain included (cozy cabin + rainy farm sounds is actually a fan favorite). In cases of severe weather, flooding, or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule at no cost to you. We ask for 7 days' notice for non-emergency cancellations. Any cancellations with less notice are handled on a case-by-case basis — life happens, and we try to be flexible. Full details will be included with your booking confirmation.
Unfortunately no — to keep the animals calm and safe, we ask that guests leave their pets at home. The farm animals are the stars of this show, and we want to make sure the whole herd has a peaceful night too.
We want everyone to be able to experience the farm. Please mention any accessibility requirements in your inquiry — we'll be upfront about what's possible and work with you to make the experience as accommodating as we can. The terrain is a working farm, so some paths are uneven, but we always do our best to adapt the experience.
Originating from the Swiss Alps, Valais Blacknose sheep are widely considered the world's cutest breed — and our guests tend to agree within about 30 seconds of meeting them. They're fluffy, gentle, friendly, and have those iconic black faces surrounded by clouds of wool. They're curious about people, calm by nature, and the real-life stars of the Frodo & Friends book series. In short: everything you're imagining, and more.
